Just returned from the event. Congrats to all the winners!
Thanks to the show host (R&K Imports) for allowing us to use the venue and promote the sport we love so much.

The event was run smoothly and organised, with 11 competitors including quite a number of new faces. The turnout was good considering those 11 competitors were without the usual competition group: nigel, pops, jeff, lance, myself and others.

Very special thanks to IASCA, especially Sully, for their performance at this event.

There were some very impressive scores at the event, with 18/20 and 19/20s in tonal accuracy! This means these cars have exceptional sound according to IASCA's worldwide standard.
Excellent work by the competitors in tuning their cars.

Stay tuned for offical show results, and coverage of the show.

There is going to be a frozen T shirt contest, open to all spectators.

Registration for this event will end at 11:30 and the contest starts at 12:00 high noon.

Shirts go into the freezer this weekend :devilsmoke:

I backed out of the competition last minute to avoid confusion.

at approx 0:55 seconds in the video I can see someone stomping on the tshirt with their shoe. I used that avenue to bend the rules to my advantage but decided to avoid the confusion all together. today competitors were told they cannot stop on the frozen tshirts.

well I for one am glad to see new spectators come to the event to see what else there is out here in the car audio world (hope they enjoyed it though). & I must say much thanks to all the people who spared me the time to give me a demo of their system.

I have to say I was very impressed with soundstream626 full system today. for what he has for bass it is hitting hard (I understand that the subs can only go so low but for what they are they sound real loud) & his front stage is like wow, loud, hard hitting & smooth (just like how I like it).

Fuzz made me have to check to see if he had another amplifier hiding somewhere, I could not believe how loud his bassline was for the small power he was using. he may have won the 'worst install' prize but he won the 'WTF' prize in my book. That T3 is a mean machine.

andrew always impresses me with his installs & great sound, he still sounds great in my book.

I must say thanks for the demo from the guy with the black fielder, your system sounds great, gave me an idea of what to expect when I am upgrading. I want to know more about that processor in your car btw, is there a name for it?

i rel enjoyed myself...was a rel rel nice experience...nigel1977's truck sounded great...i real like how his install comin along...

my good friend danny took home 3 1st places with his very impressive system and install...congrats buddy....

thanks to pimptacular, sully, adopson, fuzz, rovin and silent riot for sparing time to take a listen to my small set up...i appreciated the comments...

frozen t-shirt competition was fun to watch and the prizes were good enough IMO...

glad to see the sport growing and despite what ppl may think...we are all for helping the promotion of SQ...some ppl told me that we dont show SQ any support which isnt true...we went down to cover the event, a good bit of our members were present to show support...and last but not least....we dedicated an entire section for SQ in here....so how are we NOT supportive of the sport??? :dunno:

none the less....event was well attended and very informative and fun....keep up the spirit guys....i'll be at the next even for sure

Thread locked, as we were straying from the event, to camera phones and the humour of a video.

Admin Edit: Thread cleaned of spam and is now re-opened.

is there anywhere I can get a rundown of the sub bass scores?

I keep hearing competitors saying they get low scores in the sub bass category, it has come to my attention that Mr. Ali (Fuzz) of team 2lo2flo scored an impressive 19/20. I am wondering what the scores were like for other competitors.
